The word called Business

Its amazing how people make a living out of anything and everything .we have this habit of asking every person we meet how their business functions and every time the ideas and the process just seems to mesmerise me !!

I met this person when I went on our honeymoon.His job was to pick muscles and then sell it in the market, sounds simple and a mediocre job well think again !!
He gets up everyday by 3 and hits the sea and picks up shells and sell it and is back home by 10 and how much does he earn everyday Rs 500.
after 10 he goes for other additional jobs and by the end of month has a steady income of 15,000 Rs... amazing right .He still does not travel more than 25km away from his home has no clue what IT and BPO mean .

Quite a difference from another story at KFC chennai . We ordered for a bucket of chicken containing 10pcs and when the order came to our shock we found out that there were only 8 pcs. the manager was called and he immediately gave us the extra two pieces and an apology. Normally quietly we would have left, but he was in a mood to talk so he began , we apologize for the same, you see we usually do a business of 70,000 customers on a weekday ,but today we has some unexpected crowd of over 1,25,000 and hence the shortage.
I was zapped! one store in chennai in one day serving 1,25,000 customers ! imagine the scale of business I am talking about.

though I did my studies in marketing its only real life incidents that actually teach you what business is and makes you think.I am proud to say that though I am a beginner at learning , I am trying !!

Being married

I got married on the 25th of December ,must say what a memorable day to have got married on and truly my Santa had come to rescue me and make my dreams come true !!
I had always feared the word marriage and had the feeling that my life would completely chance to the worst once I am married.

Well now that i have successfully completed one month in this battlefield I can proudly declare,well yes it does change a lot of things , but its not all that bad after all ...

Its amazing how life takes you through this wonderful journey called life which has several defining moments of which one is called marriage.

Its when you get married that you realise the sacrifices your parents made you get you there, you realise that you no longer need your favourite curry all the time and moma's curry is always special.

I have grown up and have realised the same , life's good and bad but whatever life has to offer its my life and its my choices.
